The heart of VICTOR is a central JupyterHub platform based in the cloud, on which users can run models and analyze data. We are currently working to build that infrastructure out and make it stable. In January 2023, we had our first private beta, in which users can utilize a set of existing models and experiment with the existing tools we provide. Following this beta period, we will optimize the system based on user feedback. Once VICTOR fully launches its 1.0 version, our focus will expand to serve as a scientific resource for the volcanology community as well as a key educational resource in volcano science studies and other related fields. This goal will be reached through on-reach and out-reach, short courses, webinars, and functionality during eruption simulation exercises.
